The days are longer, the weather is turning, and cottage season is almost here. According to the Royal LePage® 2026 Spring Recreational Property Report, the median price of a single-family home in Canada’s recreational regions is forecast to reach $604,552 this year – a 4.0% increase compared to 2025 – as limited supply and steady buyer demand continue to apply modest upward pressure on prices. Every provincial recreational market in Canada is expected to see price growth in 2026, with single-family recreational homes in Manitoba and Saskatchewan leading the way at a forecasted 5.5%.
