Sweepstakes for Shelter is open to legal residents of Canada, outside of the province of Quebec

With the 25th anniversary year in full swing, the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is delighted to announce Sweepstakes for Shelter, an exciting new fundraising initiative in support of a cause Royal LePagers and their generous clients hold so dear.

Royal LePage professionals understand that a house is only a home if the people who live there feel safe. That’s why, in 1998, they unanimously agreed that helping women and children find safety from domestic abuse should be where they channeled their big hearts and charitable efforts. Since its founding, the Foundation has grown to become the largest of its kind in Canada dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and domestic violence prevention. Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company with its own charity and the Foundation has raised more than $41 million to date.

When you enter the Sweepstakes for Shelter, not only will you have the chance to win a $25,000 cash prize, but should you win, the women’s shelter* operating in your community will also receive a $2,500 donation from the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Be sure you get your tickets early to be entered into the 3 Early Bird Draws for a $250 cash prize and a $250 donation to each winner’s local women’s shelter.

While only a handful will have their name pulled as a victor in the Sweepstakes for Shelter, the true winners at the end of the campaign will be Canada’s provincial and territorial helplines for women experiencing intimate partner violence. These crisis lines operate 24/7 to provide women with emotional support, safety planning, legal advice, and referrals to their nearest women’s shelter. Making this first phone call for help is a critical step in so many women and families finding their way to safety.

Thank you for purchasing your tickets and helping make home a safe place for everyone!
